James
Swordsman, bon vivant, polymath: these are just a few of the words I can spell.
But what do I do? Who am I?
Business
WARNING – skip to the next section to avoid a sales pitch.
By trade I am a Chartered Accountant and Business Advisor. I am the principal of the North Devon accountancy practice, Accountancy Edge.
We offer our clients peace of mind. We look after their compliance obligations so they can rest assured that that burden has been taken away from them.
We also firmly believe that nobody should pay a penny more than their fair share of tax. We therefore work closely with our clients to help them plan their tax affairs to maximum advantage.
Finally, we to help make North Devon businesses more enjoyable and profitable to run. We want to help ensure that our clients understand the numbers that drive their business in order that they can drive it to where they want it to be.
Networking
You can link with me on Linkedin.
You can friend me onFacebook.
Or, for the really brave, you can follow me on Twitter.
In the non-virtual world, you can meet me at the North Devon Business Alliance lunches on the last Friday of every month.
Charity work
As well as dealing with several charities as clients, I am also a trustee of a North Devon Charity.
I am Treasurer of The Friends of the Burton Art Gallery and Museum.
Other stuff
I am the proud owner of a retired racing greyhound. She is naughty.
I also watch too much science fiction on television (the rickety old-fashioned kind), read a lot and have a somewhat opinionated view of world affairs.
